Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has now reacted to the allegations of nepotism against the Congress party. He said that BJP should ensure that there is no nepotism in their party and such people should not be given any responsibility in the party. Baghel was responding to Prime Minister Modi’s statement on nepotism in his address from the Lal Fort.

What did PM Modi say?

In his speech from the Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day, PM Modi termed corruption, nepotism and nepotism as the three vices of democracy. The Prime Minister said that they have caused a lot of damage to the country and society and our war against them will continue. PM also said in his address that next year also he will present his report card from Red Fort to the country.

Baghel raised the question

Bhupesh Baghel said that the occasion of August 15 should not be used as a political occasion. If the Prime Minister is talking about nepotism, he should not give any responsibility to people from such background in his own party.

BJP leaders were targeted

Naming the names of BJP leaders, Bagheil said that if the party has Prime Minister Scindia, Jatin Prasad, Rajnath Singh’s son, Amit Shah’s son, Raman Singh’s son or Billy Ram Kashyap’s son, they should should be removed from their positions.

Bagheel termed the decision to bar those accused of molestation, rape and other crimes against women from government jobs in Chhattisgarh as an important step towards social and women’s security.
