Jammu and Kashmir: On the occasion of the country’s 77th Independence Day, a beautiful scene was witnessed in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Indian soldiers distributed sweets to their Pakistani counterparts in Poonch, Jammu and Samba districts here. Meanwhile, soldiers from both sides congratulated each other.

In Poonch, Indian and Pakistani soldiers exchanged sweets at Chikan Da Bagh and other areas along the Line of Control, officials said. He said that in a very pleasant atmosphere, Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers personnel distributed sweets to each other at several forward border posts along the Jammu border.

He said that at all the border posts in Samba, Kathua, RSPora and Akhnoor, the jawans of both the countries distributed sweets to each other. (input language)
