PM Narendra Modi has announced a new gift to common people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced from the Red Fort on the occasion of Independence Day that affordable medicines will be made available to people and cities. For this, the target of increasing the number of Jan Oshdhi centers from 10 thousand to 25 thousand has been set.
These Jan Ushadhi Kendra shops will be opened in places where the availability of medicines is less and people have to pay more for medicines. Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day, PM Narendra Modi also said that these centers have given new strength to the people, especially the middle class.
Medicine prices will be very affordable.
Medicines are given to people at very cheap prices at these centers. For example, the PM said that if someone has a diabetes problem, he has to spend around Rs 3,000 per month, of which Rs 100 is spent on medicines. He said that we are making these medicines available for 10 to 15 rupees through these centers.
The number of Oshdhi centers will increase.
Medical expenses in the country have become more expensive. People’s savings also go towards managing the cost of treatment and medicines. In such a case, Jan Oshadhi Kendra has been started to make medicines available to common people at low cost. Now the government plans to increase the number of ‘Jan Oshadhi Kendras’ from 10,000 to 25,000. The PM said that ‘Jan Oshadhi Kendra’ has been set up to make affordable generic medicines available to all.
