What is Vishwakarma Scheme?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the launch of Vishwakarma Kaushal Saman Yojana in the country on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti next September. The scheme will provide financial assistance to small scale workers and artisans in the country, from loans to training, information on modern techniques and skills. The scheme will help small workers, artisans, farmers to connect with and learn about MSME.
Who will benefit?
Through the Vishwakarma Yojana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that small businessmen are going to get the benefit and it is going to start from next month. For this, the government is going to invest 13,000 to 15,000 crore rupees. Through this Rs 15,000 crore Vishwakarma Yojana, traditional businesses such as goldsmiths, blacksmiths, hairdressers, washermen and masons and shopkeepers will be provided with business support of Rs 15,000 crore.
PM Modi said that the Vishwakarma Yojana will provide institutional support to every Vishwakarma for traditional business, with the help of which they can improve their standard of living. It will be started mainly for the OBC category and through this the OBC category workers will get good support.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speech today said that the Union Government is coming up with a new scheme for urban families who dream of owning a home. His government has decided to give relief of lakhs in house loan interest to those living in cities or in rented houses, slums, chawls. A large population in cities still lives in slums, to whom the government has decided to give relief on the interest on these loans so that they can get their own houses. However, the detailed details of this scheme will be revealed later.
