Big shock to Pakistan before Asia Cup 2023

Asia Cup 2023: Less than 15 days are left for the Asia Cup 2023 to be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka this year. So far, three of the six participating teams have announced their squads. The first match will be played between Pakistan and Nepal. The Asia Cup will once again have a high-voltage clash between Pakistan and India, which will be played in Kandy on September 2. Now according to the reports in Cricket Pakistan, Naseem Shah, the biggest fast bowler in Pakistan’s bowling line-up, has suffered a shoulder injury. The 20-year-old fast bowler’s injury is certainly a concern for Pakistan as Naseem Shah is a strong bowler and can create problems for the opposition.

Naseem Shah is currently playing with the Colombo Strikers in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL) in Sri Lanka. He has been in good form in the tournament and has taken 10 wickets in seven matches at an average of 19.40 for the Colombo Strikers. Naseem’s economy rate has also been impressive. He has taken wickets in each of the seven matches he has played so far. The injury reportedly came to light when Naseem Shah sat out a crucial Colombo Strikers match against the Galle Titans at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Tuesday. Although it is not yet clear how serious Naseem Shah’s injury is, but if the matter escalates, the Pakistani team may suffer a major blow. As the Asia Cup is a dress rehearsal for the 2023 World Cup, Naseem Shah may be out of it. Although the Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet said anything about it, Naseem Shah may recover soon. There can be no one better than him for the Pakistan team.
