Janu Shuddhi Kendra at Railway Station: With the changing times, Indian Railways is trying to provide maximum facilities to its passengers. If a passenger falls ill at a railway station, he has to face a lot of trouble. In such a situation, the Ministry of Railways has decided to open Pradhan Mantri Jan Bharatiya Ushadhi Kendra (PMBJKs) at stations so that passengers can easily get affordable medicines while travelling. Through this, crores of railway passengers will get cheap medicines at the railway station itself in case of emergency.
What is Jin Oshadhi Kendra?
The Modi government at the Center launched the Pradhan Mantri Jan Oshadhi Yojana on 24 April 2018. Through this scheme, medicines are made available to the common people at cheap rates. These are medical stores where generic medicines are available at 70 to 80 percent less than the market price.
This benefit will be available from the Jan Oshadhi Kendra at the railway station.
