Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s statement on this whole issue has come out amidst the ongoing politics regarding the reduction of holidays in Bihar government schools. In response to the state’s main opposition party, the BJP, opening a front on festive holidays in government schools, Nitish Kumar has made it clear that good work is being done. He also responded to the controversy over the issue and said where is the controversy. He said that there is no dispute about the reduction of holidays, everyone keeps telling lies.
‘People don’t want everyone to read’
Nitish Kumar said in his own way, ‘Hey brother, everyone wants to study, what’s wrong with that. We don’t want everyone to read it. So all this is happening because of that. Where is anything wrong with that? The Chief Minister further said that when officers and departments understand, then they take decisions, what is wrong in that. “We are surprised that there is any controversy,” he said. We want the study to continue on time. If anyone has any complaint they can meet me.
Reduction of Hindu festival holidays
Let us tell you that the holidays of many Hindu festivals including Raksha Bandhan have been shortened in Bihar. Teachers union, teachers and BJP are opposing this cut in leave. The Chief Minister also did not give any clear answer on ‘one nation, one election’. He said that it will be discussed in the House. Nitish said that he already doubts that the Lok Sabha elections will be held early. He also questioned the non-conduct of census and said that what was supposed to be done is not being done, what should not be done is being done. The CM said that Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies are in panic.
