Here he will meet people from the Maratha community who were injured in the lathi charge. Also, the bus service on the Dhule-Solapur highway has been canceled due to the Jalna violence. The ST committee has decided to temporarily cancel the bus service.

Action will be taken against guilty police officials: Deputy CM

In support of the Maratha protesters, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said action would be taken against the guilty policemen who resorted to lathi charge. He appealed to the Maratha protesters to maintain peace. Ajit Pawar said, “The demand for reservation for the Maratha community is legitimate. We support peaceful protests for this demand anywhere in the state. State Home Ministry is responsible: Sharad Pawar

45 police officers injured in Jalan violence

The police have registered a case under sections 323, 353, 332, 147 and 149 of the IPC against more than 200 unidentified people in Gondi police station in this case.
