Ahmedabad: President Draupadi Murmu will visit Gujarat on September 13. During this, she will inaugurate the Gujarat Legislative Assembly’s National e-Vidhan Application (NEVA) project and address the legislators. Gujarat Assembly Secretary DM Patel said the President will inaugurate NEVA, which is implemented on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘One Nation, One Application’ concept to make the Legislative Assembly paperless and then Will address the legislators.

“Assembly Speaker Shankar Chaudhary has invited President Murmu to inaugurate the project and address the House during the third session of the 15th Legislative Assembly beginning September 13,” Patel said in a video statement.

Wasnik directed to fill up vacant posts in major Congress organizations in Gujarat.

Gujarat Congress General Secretary-in-charge Mukul Wasnik on Saturday directed the heads of major party organizations in the state to fill up the vacant posts. He also discussed preparations for the Lok Sabha elections with the state leadership. During his second visit to Gujarat less than two weeks after being appointed in-charge of the state, Wasnik held one-on-one meetings with the presidents of various organizations and also attended the core committee meeting here. Party sources informed this.

A move to strengthen the party

“Wasnik directed him to fill vacancies at all levels and appoint dedicated people from all communities to strengthen the party,” said a leader. State Congress president and Rajya Sabha member Shakti Singh Gohal and Legislature Party leader Amit Chawda were also present in the core committee meeting.
