It is not new for Pakistani intelligence agencies to trap Indian people for divulging sensitive information. Now another such case has come to light in which an army official has shared sensitive information related to the Indian Army to a drug smuggler. While investigating the matter, the police have arrested the accused soldier from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

According to the information given by the Patiala Police, a soldier named Manpreet Sharma has been arrested for providing sensitive information of the Indian Army to a drug smuggler. Preliminary investigations revealed that the leaked sensitive information was shared with Pakistan.
How did you get caught?
According to Patiala SSP Varun Sharma, the police arrested a drug smuggler named Amrik. The police had found sensitive information of the Indian Army from his phone. During interrogation, he said that he got this information from a soldier named Manpreet Sharma. Taking immediate action, the police arrested the accused soldier from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.
Army camp information was also leaked.
Even earlier, the issue of information leakage of Indian military bases had come up. Drug smuggler Amar Singh had sent all important information related to Yule Army Cantt area of Himachal Pradesh through mobile to Pakistan. Drug smuggler Amrik Singh has been lodged in Patiala Jail since November 2022. The police are continuously interrogating him. Two AK-47 rifles, cartridges and a large consignment of narcotics were sent by Pakistan via drone in exchange for information about Indian military bases.
