Big news is coming from Gujarat’s Dahod. A massive fire broke out in the engine of Dawood Anand 9350 MEMU train at Jakot railway station here. The fire in the engine of the train spread to two coaches. Meanwhile, noise and stampede broke out on the spot. There is no news of any casualty in the accident. Fortunately, due to the fire in the last compartment, the rest of the compartments were saved and all the passengers in the train are safe. The fire brigade has reached the spot and the fire is currently under control. It should be noted that this MEMU train was going from Dahud to Godhra.

The train was unloading passengers when there was a stampede.

Let us tell you that like every day on Friday too, MEMU train number 09350 left Dahod full of passengers at 11.38 am. Dahud 10 km away from Jakot. When the train was unloading passengers at the Jakot railway station, suddenly there was a stampede in the rear compartment adjacent to the engine of the Memo train. Soon, parts of the AC coach adjacent to the engine were leaking, which was reported to the higher authorities. As soon as the information was received, officers of the riot division reached the accident site. Dahoud informed the fire department and called them. After much effort, the fire was brought under control.

As soon as the fire was reported, the ASP of Dahoud. Siddharth also reached Jakot village along with the police convoy. After several hours of struggle, the fire was finally brought under control and the people there breathed a sigh of relief.
