After the child’s death, the villagers rioted.
High-speed destruction was witnessed in Bihar’s Jehanabad. A seven-year-old child was crushed by an out-of-control car. The child died on the spot. Angered by this incident, the villagers damaged the car and beat up the young man in it. After that, the villagers raised a ruckus on the spot. The incident took place in Islamchak village of Kako police station area. Angered by the incident, villagers demanded compensation and set the body on fire near Pali Mor on the Jehanabad-Nalanda main road NH-110 and blocked the road for several hours.

Commuters faced problems due to road jam. About the incident, the villagers said that a 7-year-old boy named Shivam alias Golukumar was standing in front of the house. Meanwhile, an out of control car crushed him due to which he died on the spot. As soon as the villagers got the news of the child’s death, they came to the road and chased the youth in the car and caught him. After that he was severely beaten. As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot and somehow took the young man out of the crowd and took him to the police station.

Meanwhile, the villagers damaged the car with bricks and stones. The villagers said that the car driver was under the influence of alcohol which led to the incident. Golu Islam was the only son of Nand Lal Pandit, a resident of Chak village. As soon as the incident was reported here, the SDO and SDPO reached the spot with their team and cleared the jam with great effort after explaining to the people. In this regard, SDPO said that a child has died in a road accident. Enraged by the incident, the villagers blocked the road demanding compensation. Meanwhile, further action is being taken after taking possession of the vehicle.
