Gang rape of three women in front of their families in Haryana, search for accused started

Three women were allegedly raped by four unidentified persons in front of their families in Haryana’s Panipat. Police gave this information on Thursday. Police said the incident took place late on Wednesday night in which the accused were armed with knives and other sharp weapons.

Four men broke into the family’s home and tied the family members with ropes before raping the three female workers. Police said that the accused also looted money and jewellery.

According to the police, in another case on Wednesday night, a woman was attacked and robbed of her husband. The incident took place about a kilometer away from the scene of the gang-rape in which the woman died.

Police suspect the involvement of the same people who were involved in the gang-rape in the second incident as the assailants forced their way into the couple’s home and assaulted them.

They robbed the man of his money and his mobile phone. Vijay, in-charge of Matloda police station in Panipat, said that both the incidents took place in the same village. He said that the investigation is on and no arrest has been made yet.
