The installation of a statue of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav in the Samajwadi Party (SP) office in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi has cost district president Virender Yadav Vere. If an idol is installed on the municipal land without permission, the municipal administration has issued a notice and asked to remove the idol within 24 hours. Actually the SP office is located some distance from the municipality complex of Hardoi which is the land of the municipality. A long time ago, former MLA Late Vishram Singh had allotted this land. Now district president Virender Yadav alias Veere Yadav has built a concrete plinth here and installed a nearly 6 feet statue of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on it.
The municipal administration gave notice.
As soon as the municipal administration got wind of it, they immediately gave a notice to the district president and posted a notice in the office. Through the notice, the statue has been directed to be removed within 24 hours otherwise the administration will be forced to take action. When an attempt was made to know something from the SP president in this regard, he refused to say anything. Now it is to be seen whether the Samajwadi Party workers themselves or the administration will remove the statue of such a great leader of the country.
What is the matter of land?
