Here, Ganesh pandals at various locations make special arrangements for their respective Ganpatis. Now a glimpse of a similar special arrangement is seen in Nagpur, where Lord Ganesha is offered 1101 kg of Mahladu. Let us tell about this great joy.

On Tuesday, 1101 kg of mahaldu was offered to Lord Ganesha at the famous Tekdi Ganesh temple in Nagpur, Maharashtra. On this occasion, a large crowd of Ganesha devotees gathered in the temple. Many Ganesha devotees were inspired by Mahaladu’s artistry. Let us tell you that special ingredients were used to make this ladoo, including gram flour, pure ghee, sugar and dry fruits.

Who donated?

A Nagpur daily reported that 1101 kg of Mahladu was offered to Lord Ganesha at the famous Ganesh Tekri temple. After the pooja, the prasad of mahaldu was distributed among the devotees. The organizers said that the 24 carat gold work presented on the mahaldu has been brought from Delhi. Pistachios, almonds, cashews, raisins, saffron and rose water were used in this laddu offered to Lord Ganesha.

Made by 22 artisans

About 5 feet high and 4.5 feet wide mahaldu was built by a total of 22 artisans working day and night. A structural designer was hired to give structure to the lido. 7 layers of dry fruits and bondi were applied to the mahaldu, after which it was given a round shape. Organizers said that 320 kg of flour, 400 kg of sugar, 320 kg of desi ghee, 61 kg of dry fruits and 61 kg of rose water have been used in making Mahalda.
