It’s Game Over for ‘Thanks for Coming’ at the Box Office! Back from Bhumi Pednekar’s film ‘Mission Raniganj’

Thanks for visiting Box Office Collection Day 9: Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Thanks for Coming’ seems to be failing at the box office. The film was released in theaters on October 6 and has been doing meager collections since the beginning. Now, 9 days after the release, the film’s grip seems to be falling further. The film, made with a budget of Rs 40 crore, has not earned even Rs 7 crore so far, which is a matter of concern for the makers.

On the occasion of National Cinema Day, while other films got the benefit of Rs 99 ticket offer, this offer also proved meaningless for ‘Thanks for Coming’. Because the film earned only Rs 0.75 crore on the 8th day as well. According to the report of Sakanlik, Bhumi Pednekar’s film will make only Rs 0.43 crore on the 9th day. After which the total collection of the film will be Rs 6.13 crore.

Day by day collection of ‘Thanks for coming’ so far
Day 1- 0.8 crore
Day 2- 1.15 crores
Day 3- 1.25 crores
Day 4- 0.5 crore
Day 5- 0.45 crore
Day 6- 0.4 crore
Day 7- 0.4 crore
Day 8- 0.75 crore
Day 9- 0.43 crore

Total- Rs.6.13 Crores

‘Thank You For Coming’ lost to ‘Mission Raniganj’
‘Thanks for Coming’ released in theaters along with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Mission Raniganj’. ‘Mission Raniganj’ is performing better than Bhumi Pednekar’s film. The film depicts the story of Jaswant Singh Gill who rescued 65 miners trapped in a flood in a coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal in 1989. Talking about the film’s Saturday collection, it can collect Rs 1.50 crore. Which would be 3 times more than ‘thanks for coming’. With this the total collection of the film will also be Rs 24.50 crore.
