Kareena Kapoor has been in the headlines for a long time for her upcoming film ‘The Buckingham Murders’. Bollywood’s Bebo will be seen in this Hansal Mehta film. The film premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Kareena Kapoor has shared several pictures of her new role from the sets of the film for which she had to wait 23 years. Kareena has also shared some special things about the character in the caption of the pictures.

In Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’, Kareena Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a detective and a mother named Jas Bhamra, who after losing her child gets an opportunity to investigate the murder of a 10-year-old boy in Buckinghamshire. On Sunday, Kareena shared some pictures on her Instagram account and talked about her role. In one picture, she is looking out of a glass window. In some pictures she is seen thinking and in one picture she is seen waiting. In one picture, she is seen standing on the set amidst fog.

About Kareena’s new role

Kareena Kapoor wrote about her journey to portray the role of Bhumra. The actress wrote that ‘Jas Bhamra was a role that I was waiting to play for the last 23 years, I was waiting for the last 23 years to do spy films and serials. Being a fan of thrillers, I have seen everything from Karam Chand in Prime Suspect to Helen Mirren, Christy in Hercule Poirot to Kate Winslet in Mary Off. I just wanted to play a female detective. Thanks Hansal and Ekta for giving me this opportunity.

Kareena Kapoor’s Workfront

Kareena was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Jaane Jaan, which released on September 21 on Netflix. The film also featured Vijay Verma and Jaydeep Ahlawat in lead roles. Kareena Kapoor will be seen in her upcoming film ‘The Crew’ alongside Kriti Sanon, Diljit Dosanjh and Tabu. The film is directed by Rajesh Krishnan.
