Stock market: Stock market smiles after six days, Sensex jumps 340 points, Nifty again moves towards 19000.

The country’s stock market, which closed in the red for six consecutive days, finally opened with a smile in the last session of the week. At market opening time on Friday at 9.15 am, the Bombay Stock Exchange index Sensex was seen trading at 63488, a jump of 340 points. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was also seen trading at 18947 with an increase of 90 points.

Most of the shares are in the green mark.

According to Money Control News, all sectoral indices are trading in the green with gains in auto, capital goods, IT, power and realty. Infosys, Apollo Hospitals, Wipro, HCL Technologies and SBI were the strongest performers on the Nifty.

The hint was given in the pre-opening itself.

The stock market had already given signs of a positive start today. At 9.04 am, the BSE Sensex was seen trading up 355.60 points at 63503.75. Similarly, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was also seen trading at 18901.60 with an increase of 44 points. International markets saw mixed signals today. A bullish trend is being seen in the Asian market. However, the US market saw a decline.

In the previous session, Sensex had lost 900 points.

BSE’s benchmark Sensex closed down 900.91 points, or 1.41 percent, at 63,148.15 in the last session on Thursday, while the NSE Nifty fell 264.90 points, or 1.39 percent, at 18,857.25.
