‘Appropriate measures are required’

NGT Chairperson Justice Prakash Srivastava said that adequate measures are needed to control the adverse effects of air pollution affecting various organs of the human body, especially the brain and emotional and psychological aspects. However, he pointed out that effects on different organs of the body, including the brain, need to be evaluated separately for the specific problem involved.
