According to the Vayu Purana

In the Vayu Purana, the birth of Hanumanji is described as follows.

According to this verse, Hanumanji was born on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha in the month of Kartik. Little Diwali will be celebrated on Chaturdashi date of Kartik month.

When is Hanuman Jayanti?
