Domestic stock markets opened flat on Wednesday. The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex was 26.92 points higher at the morning market opening and trading at 64969.32. Similarly, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty was also seen trading up 18.10 points at 19424.80. However, there has been a bullish trend in the market for the past few days. During today’s trading session, special focus is on Apollo Tyres, Shree Cements and IRCTC stocks.

Stock status as the market opens

BPCL, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, UPL and Cipla were the top gainers on the Nifty, while HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Nestlé India , Hindalco and Infosys were in losses. All sectoral indices except banks are trading in the green.

The domestic stock market got off to a strong start in the pre-opening session this morning. The BSE Sensex was trading at 65139.66 after jumping 197.26 points. While NSE’s Nifty was trading at 19856.60 with a strong gain of 449.90.
