Metro project in Shanti Nagar is in progress. Police reached the spot and recovered the woman’s body from inside the suitcase, the officer said. He said that the body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
A woman’s body was found in a suitcase in central Mumbai’s Kurla area. Police gave this information on Sunday. A police officer said that at around 12.30 pm, the police received information about a suitcase lying abandoned on CST Road in Shantinagar, after which the body was recovered.

According to the police, the woman has not yet been identified. The officer said that the police are checking the footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the area. According to the official, the Kurla police have registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and the search is on for the killer.
