After retaining the IPL, RCB team has traded Cameron Green with Mumbai Indians. RCB paid Rs 17.50 crore for him. Green is an excellent bowler as well as a strong batsman. His coming to RCB will bring balance to the team. Green is in great form and in T20 cricket he can change the course of a match in a few balls. What will be his role in the RCB team? Director Mo Bobat has made a big statement in this regard.

The team director said this.

RCB director Mo Bobbitt said Cameron Green could prove to be an explosive package for Royal Challengers Bangalore, especially at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. In RCB Bold Diaries, he said that he is perfectly fit for the role of a power hitter in the middle order. He is an excellent and skilled batsman. He has the shots to play both fast and spin bowling. Green is also an excellent fielder. He has taken some good catches while fielding in recent times and is quite impressive while fielding in the gully.

RCB’s new head coach Andy Flower was also excited about Cameron Green’s inclusion in the team. “Our focus was really around the middle order and we can improve the middle order,” Flower said. We want to strike the right balance on foreign players. All-rounders are important in today’s era. So we had a lot of discussion and Green entered.
