The Bihar education department has released a new time table for schools in the state, which will be effective from December 1. It gives information about class timings as well as the kind of discipline teachers have to follow. According to the order of the education department, the schools of the state will now be open from 9 am to 5 pm and all teachers will be on duty in the schools till 5 pm. Along with this, guidelines for creating media and associations are also given. A warning of action has also been given in case of non-compliance of these orders.

Time to check students’ homework

According to this time table, special classes will be held under Mission Daksh at 3.30 pm and teachers will check students’ homework from 4.15 to 5 pm. This new time table regarding the Mission Daksh program will be effective from December 1. Along with the lesson plan, profiles of the children of Mission Daksh will also be created. The order states that strict action will be taken by the education department if the timetable is not followed.

Ban on teachers making statements on the media

According to the order of Under Chief Secretary Education Department KK Pathak, the teacher leaders have been given a stern warning and now they have been banned from making statements in the media, social media and newspapers. Expressing any kind of views in the media is also prohibited. The Education Department has clearly stated that no teacher’s union is recognized, therefore teachers and officials are prohibited from becoming union members.

Strict action will be taken against the unionists.

According to the order, strict action will be taken against the unionized teachers and employees. The department will consider this as serious misconduct and will take strict action. Along with this, any kind of demonstration and strike has also been banned. In this regard, KK Pathak has issued orders to all DEOs and said that strict action should be taken against those who make statements, form unions, take membership and protest.
