In this regard, a high-level committee chaired by Home Minister Amit Shah in the Union Home Ministry on Thursday approved a Rs 1658.17 crore Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (R&R) scheme for Joshi Mutt. Under this R&R scheme, central assistance of Rs.1079.96 crore will be provided through the rehabilitation and reconstruction window of the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF).
Funds will also be released from the SDRF fund.
Apart from central assistance, the state government will provide Rs 126.41 crore for relief assistance from its State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and Rs 451.80 crore from its state budget, including Rs 91.82 crore for cost of land acquisition for rehabilitation. are also included.
