The pace of growth of the Indian economy was excellent, with GDP at 7.6 percent in the second quarter of 2022-23.

GDP data for the second quarter of 2023-24: In the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2023-24, the growth rate of the country’s economy has been 7.6 percent between July and September. During the first quarter of the current financial year, the GDP was 7.8 percent from April to June. While the GDP in the second quarter of last financial year 2022-23 was 6.3 percent. The RBI had estimated GDP at 6.5 percent in the second quarter.

The second quarter GDP data has been released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
