According to information, the Nepal Airlines flight carrying Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” to Dubai took off two hours before its scheduled time. Due to which the passengers had to face serious problems. This left 31 passengers stranded at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. Dubai-bound flight RA 299 on Wednesday was scheduled to take off at 11.30 pm, but due to the flight’s VVIP status, the flight took off at 9.30 pm, the airline said.
The airline apologized
“Prime Minister Prachanda was on the same flight and was leaving for Dubai with a delegation for the COP28 summit,” the airlines said. The ship had to leave early. Later, the airline issued a notice apologizing for the inconvenience caused to the passengers. There were 274 passengers on the list and 31 of them could not board the flight, which led to a two-hour rescheduling. The airline said it had issued notices about the new flight departure time via mobile phone and email but 31 passengers did not respond.
The COP 28 climate conference is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.
Prachanda had traveled from Nepal to Dubai to attend a climate summit in the United Arab Emirates. He will attend the COP 28 climate conference there.
