After a bumper win in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party is constantly mulling over its chief ministerial contender. In the assembly elections held in the state, the BJP had decided to contest against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan under PM Modi and collective leadership. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement amid ongoing speculations about the post of Chief Minister. He has made it clear that he is not currently going to Delhi for any discussion.

Focus on lost seats first.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that he is not going to Delhi yet. He has said that tomorrow he will visit Chhindwara district, where BJP has not been able to win all the 7 seats. He said that he has only one resolution and that is to make BJP win all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said that PM Modi should take garland of 29 lotus flowers from Madhya Pradesh.

A bumper victory in 2019.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP’s performance in Madhya Pradesh was outstanding. The party had won 28 of the 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state. There, the Congress had to be satisfied with only one seat, Chhandwara. Also, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had captured 27 out of 29 seats in the state. Then Congress had to settle for Chhandwara and Gana i.e. total 2 seats.
