Bhopal: An innocent 5-year-old Mahi, who fell into an open borewell in Paplia Rasoda village of Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district, died while undergoing treatment at Hamedia Hospital in Bhopal. After being rescued from the borewell, he was admitted to Hamidiya Hospital for treatment.
According to information, 5-year-old innocent Mahi Paplia was playing in her maternal uncle Inder Singh Bhil’s farm in Rasoda village when she fell into an open borewell. A team of police administration including NDRF, SDRF and Collector, SP stood at the spot to remove it. At around 2.30 am, the innocent Mahi was dug out separately by the management with the help of JCB. She was admitted to Bhopal’s Hamidiya Hospital for treatment where the 5-year-old Mahi lost her battle for life on Wednesday morning. After this incident, a wave of mourning spread throughout the area.
The elected MLA canceled the victory procession.
Newly elected MLA from Koravar Nagar Mohanji Sharma has postponed his victory procession program after the news of the death of Masoom Mahi in Hamidia Hospital. Now this procession will leave from the city bus stand tomorrow Thursday at 11 am. He cited the killing of Karni Sena national president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi and the death of Mahi as the reason for canceling the victory procession.
Earlier, a rescue operation was conducted for 9 hours to save Mahi. Mahi fell into a borewell at Pupliya Rasoda village at 5.30 pm on Tuesday. NDRF and SDRF rescued him safely from Borewell at 2.30 pm. But he died during treatment at Hamidiya Hospital in Bhopal.
