Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory.

New Delhi: ‘Shri Ram Hanuman Samwad’ (Story) by Pithadheswar of Bageshwar Dham and storyteller Dhirendra Shastri is scheduled to be held today at the CBD ground in Delhi. In view of this, traffic will be affected in East Delhi’s Kakkadoma area from today i.e. Saturday. Delhi Traffic Police has also issued a traffic advisory in this regard. According to the traffic advisory, traffic movement will be restricted from Kakkadoma red light to Satyam Chowk on Maharaja Surajmal Road, Vivek Vihar from Saturday to Monday in view of Dhirendra Shastri’s ‘Shri Ram Hanuman Samvad’ Katha at CBD ground.

From where the paths were diverted.

Motorists are advised to take alternate route from Karkardoma red light to Valmiki Marg (Road No. 72) to Valmiki Marg-Gurdwara Road intersection and then Gurdwara Road to Satyam Chowk Maharaja Surajmal Road, Vivek Vihar, it said. Take the route. Traffic signals have been installed at suitable places for the convenience of commuters and adequate staff has been deployed to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic, the advisory said.

The route will be closed from 9 am to 12 noon.

The traffic advisory said that drivers are advised to take diverted route and follow traffic police instructions. The Kailash Yatra is being organized by the ‘International Sudhasram Shakti Kendra’ on Saturday, which will start from the Shri Ram Temple in Surajmal Vihar, police said. The Yatra will start at 9 am and end at the CBD ground at 12 noon. According to the advisory, no vehicle will be allowed to ply on this route from 9 am to 12 noon on Saturday due to Yatra.
