The state government here has postponed the order to reduce the e-way bill limit from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50,000 for movement of goods within the state and also reinstated the old system. According to language news, a senior official gave this information on Thursday.

West Bengal GST Commissioner Khalid Anwar said that the government has taken this decision in the public interest after listening to the views of stakeholders on some issues related to e-way bill.
