Trinamool activist Sateen Chaudhary was shot dead in Bhakuri Chaltiya area under Behrampur police station on Sunday afternoon. After which he died during treatment at Bahrampur Murshidabad Medical College Hospital.

It is being told that a flat was being built near the house where Satin Chaudhary was sitting in Bhakuri Chaltiya area. He was then shot dead by three bike-borne miscreants while he was standing. Satyan Chaudhary was seriously injured and was admitted to Murshidabad Medical College Hospital in Bahrampur. He died while undergoing treatment here. As soon as the incident was reported, the police of Bahrampur police station reached the spot. The police administration has started an investigation into the entire incident. However, the people of the city are quite afraid of this incident of firing before the Lok Sabha elections.

According to sources, Satin was sitting with some followers near a multi-storied building in Bhakuri area of ​​Bahrampur. Meanwhile, the miscreants shot at him. The leader was once known as the right-hand man of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary in the district. Later, due to differences with him, Satin left the Congress and joined the Trinamool. According to party sources, he stayed away from the party due to differences with the party before the last assembly elections. However, the police have started an investigation to find out the exact cause of death of the Trinamool worker.
