Yogi government gave farmers great news! Approval of 17 proposals in cabinet meeting

A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was held at Lok Bhavan today in which 17 proposals including sugarcane price hike and semiconductor policy were approved. The proposal to increase the price of sugarcane by Rs 20 per quintal was approved. Now sugarcane will be bought at Rs 370 per quintal. Let us tell you that in the last 6 years there has been an increase of Rs.55. In the current session, farmers have been paid 86 percent of the price of sugarcane.

Sugarcane price increase will be on 3 categories. The sugarcane minister said that today the Yogi government has increased the price of sugarcane to Rs 370 (previously). An additional Rs 2,200 crore will go into farmers’ accounts. In the previous SP government, there was only an increase of Rs.25 in 5 years. 55 increase in 6 years in Yogi government

These proposals were approved in the meeting.

  1. The proposal to name the Ayodhya airport after Maharshi Valmiki was approved.
  2. The proposal to amend the Fire Service Act was approved.
  3. The proposal to name Mondera Nagar Panchayat after Chori-Chora was passed.
  4. The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has been approved for exemption in state local tax, property tax, house tax, service charge, water tax, advertising tax and parking fee.
  5. Proposals regarding establishment of three private universities – JSS University Noida, Saroj International University Lucknow, Sharda University Agra and free transfer of land from Secondary Education Department in Agra to PAC were approved.

No fee will be charged for setting up small and micro-medium units by conversion of land coming under Urban Development Department in Uttar Pradesh.
