1. Tarangi Idli

To make Taranga Idli, first add ruava, salt, curd and water in a bowl and mix well.

Then divide them into three parts.
-Mix white, green and orange food colors separately to give it a tricolor look.
Leave it like this for half an hour.
Now take an idli stand and fill it with batter and steam it for 15 minutes.
Now you can serve it with green and coconut white chutney or sambar.
– You can also add mustard seeds and a pinch of curry leaves.

2. Taranga Dhokla – Tri-color Dhokla recipe

-To make dhokla, soak rice and dal in separate bowls for at least 8 hours.
– Drain the water and grind them both finely.
Add sour curd and some hot water to the dal rice paste and leave it to boil.
Now divide the batter into three parts.
Mix different colors in three.
After 6 hours add salt and ground ginger to this mixture.
Cook the dhokla mixture in a small bowl in a steamer for about 15 to 20 minutes. Now your three color dhokla is ready.
For tempering, heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves and let it cook for a minute or two.
Pour the tempering over the dhokla. Arrange it on a plate in the shape of a tricolor flag and serve.
