Warning the government, Jarange even said that if he died during the hunger strike, the Maratha community would burn Maharashtra like Lanka.

Jarange accused Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar of cheating the Maratha community by not implementing the draft notification on ‘relatives’ and by not withdrawing the cases registered against Maratha protesters during last year’s movement. Alleged. Jarange also said that Ajit Pawar Chhagan is supporting Bhujbal while Bhujbal is against inclusion of Maratha community in OBC category.
