New Delhi: CBSE 10th and 12th exams are starting from today across the country. The farmers’ movement has increased the tension among candidates from Delhi and surrounding areas. Due to the movement, forts from Haryana to Delhi are closed. Barricading walls have been erected in every city. The farmers’ movement in the capital has led to massive traffic jams at many places. Due to which students may face a lot of problems even today. CBSE has issued guidelines for students in view of the hurdles at the border.

There will be no admission to the examination center after 10 am.

In this guideline, students and parents are advised to leave their homes early so that they can reach the examination center on time. Also, it is advised to use metro services to reach the examination centers. Please note that no student will be allowed to enter after 10 am.

Important guidelines

  • Candidates do not forget to carry their admit card to the examination center.
  • The admit card has to be taken to the examination center every day.
  • All candidates should reach the examination center before the reporting time.
  • Entry will not be allowed in case of delay and gate closure.
  • Candidates must reach the examination center by 9 AM for Shift 1.
  • Candidates for shift 2 have to reach the examination center by 1.30 pm.
  • In all shifts, candidates will be given initial 15 minutes to read and understand the questions.
  • Visually Impaired and Handicapped candidates who are unable to write on their own will be allowed to hire a writer.
  • All such candidates will be provided additional time of 20 minutes per hour as compensation.
  • Candidates should not carry any electronic device to the examination centre.

BSEB has set up a containment zone for students, parents and others, which will function from February 14 to February 23, 2024.
