Muzaffarpur: A shocking case has come to light in the district. Here a woman has filed a complaint against her husband in the police station. The woman alleges that despite more than two and a half years of marriage, her husband has not had physical relations with her. Not only this, the woman is also being harassed in various ways in the in-laws. The angry wife has filed an FIR in the women’s police station. The woman has filed a named report against 6 people including her husband. She has also accused her in-laws of giving death threats.

In the application given to the police, the victim has said that she is originally a resident of Parmanandpur in Vaishali district. She was married to a young man on 31st May 2021 in Aiyapur police station area. After marriage, when she came to her in-laws, her husband did not have physical relations with her. The woman says that since she got married, her husband has been keeping a distance from her. According to the woman, when she complained about her husband to her in-laws, they told her to keep quiet and even beat her up. The in-laws said that now the marriage has taken place, you have to stay in this house, get adjusted.

The woman somehow reached her mother’s house.

The victim alleged that when she asked to go to her maternal uncle’s house, her husband threatened her and said that if she left the house, he would kill her family. When she tried to go to her in-laws, her in-laws caught her and took away her jewellery, clothes and mobile phone. The woman somehow came to her house on the pretext of her grandfather’s ill health. He then reported it to his maternal uncle. After that, the woman filed a police complaint with the help of her maternal uncle’s family. Lady SHO Aditi Kumari said that a case has been registered under sections 341, 323, 498 (A), 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Half a dozen people including the deceased’s husband have been named accused. Police have started further action.
