Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that a common man wants his children to get good education and education can end poverty in the country. CM Kejriwal said this after inaugurating the ‘School of Eminence’ at Indrapuri in Ludhiana along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

“…I can’t believe this is a government school.”

About the school in Ludhiana, Kejriwal said, “When we enter the school, we cannot believe that it is a government school, with the kind of classrooms, laboratories and other facilities, I challenge to say this. “Maybe if someone had built that? A school in the private sector, they would have set a minimum fee of Rs 10,000 per month. Now the children of labourers, poor, farmers, electricians, plumbers and others are given school,” he said. Modern facilities will be available in Off Eminence.

Two Chief Ministers visiting Punjab: AAP Convenor

Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal said, “I visit Punjab regularly. Two Chief Ministers (Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal) are visiting Punjab and visiting government schools. Has any minister before Has the Highness done this?” Who cares if public schools are functioning properly? Both the chief ministers are now visiting hospitals and neighborhood clinics to see how things are going. Kejriwal said that a common man wants his children to get good education and stand on their own feet. There is only one thing through which we can remove poverty from our country and that is education. If we give good education to our children, they can become good and capable citizens and lead the country on the path of development.

Mann said that I wish there were such facilities in our time.

On this occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that “Aam Aadmi Party does politics of development, not hatred or caste politics. We talk about building good schools, good hospitals, providing free electricity and building infrastructure.” . Talking about the school, Maan said that I wish there were such facilities in our time as well. He said that many parents told me that big claims are made in private schools but nothing is received after admission. (input language)
