Stock market bullish, Nifty managed to open at record high

Stock Market Opening: The Indian stock market continues to rally on the back of good cues from the global market and good domestic data. The first business day of the new week has started with a slight uptick. A strong rally in US markets last Friday and a strong opening in Asian markets today have given positive signals, based on which domestic markets are also bullish.

How did the market start?

The BSE Sensex opened up 96.95 points or 0.13 percent at 73,903. The NSE Nifty managed to open up 25.10 points or 0.11 per cent at 22,403.

Sensex share situation

Out of the 30 stocks in the BSE Sensex, 14 are trading in the green range of gains and 16 stocks are in the red zone of decline. The top gainer of the Sensex is NTPC which is up 2.68%. Power Grid gained 1.97 percent while Sun Pharma gained 0.63 percent. Bharti Airtel is showing an increase of 0.62% and IndusInd Bank is showing an increase of 0.56%.
