Delhi Police’s Crime Branch busted a gang manufacturing fake life-saving medicines and arrested 10 accused. The police have recovered fake medicines worth crores of rupees from these accused. Sanjay Bhatia, Additional CP of Crime Branch said that the Crime Branch had received information that fake medicines were being supplied in Delhi-NCR, based on this information three teams were formed, which were sent to different locations. .

Fake medicines recovered from eco-van

The first team of the crime branch arrested a man named Apkar along with an eco-van, driven by Jaspreet Singh, in Tilakburj area of ​​Delhi. The crime branch team searched the Eeco van and found a large quantity of fake medicines during the check. When the crime branch team interrogated Apkar and Jaspreet, a huge fake medicine racket was uncovered. The crime branch team found out that a fake medicine manufacturing factory was running in Shamli, which was run by a man named Surinder Malik.

Raid on fake medicine factory

After that, the crime branch team laid a trap and arrested Surinder Malik. Not only this, the police team also reached the place in Shamli where fake medicines were being made in the factory. The police team sealed the fake medicine manufacturing factory. Apart from this, the police have found a huge quantity of fake medicines worth crores.

Another team of crime branch was also engaged in investigating the matter. The second team learned that a person was coming to Uttam Nagar area of ​​Delhi with fake medicines. Based on this information, the crime branch team arrested a person named Mukesh from Uttamnagar area. Police have recovered huge quantity of fake medicines from Mukesh’s house. When he was interrogated, the name of Vikas Chauhan came up. Police arrested Vikas Chauhan while continuing the investigation.

Another factory and warehouse in Ghaziabad

Police inquiries revealed that Vikas Chauhan was running a factory in Ghaziabad’s Rajendra Nagar area and fake medicines were manufactured inside the factory. Not only this, the investigation also revealed that Vikas Chauhan had a godown in Bhopura area of ​​Ghaziabad. When the police team reached there, Vikas Chauhan’s father evaded the police and ran away. When the police chased him and caught him, a huge amount of fake medicines were recovered from him.

During this entire investigation, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested 10 accused. According to the police, fake medicines worth crores of rupees have been recovered from these accused. The names of the exported drugs are:
