A 62-year-old American citizen’s body has been found in a room of Mumbai’s JW Marriott Hotel. A dead body of an American citizen has been found in a hotel located in Andheri area. Police have registered a case under ADR in this matter and started further investigation. Sahir police have taken the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem. In fact, the police recovered the body of a 62-year-old American citizen from a room at the JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai’s Andheri area. The police received the information at around 10 am on Tuesday, immediately after receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody and sent it to the government hospital for post-mortem.

How did the death happen?

Police have said that they did not find anything suspicious at the scene and preliminary investigations suggest that the foreign national died of natural causes. The deceased had arrived in Mumbai on March 9 for a meeting and was scheduled to return to his country on March 14, police said.

A woman was also killed in the Nepean area.

On the other hand, a 63-year-old woman named Jyoti Shah has been killed in Nepean Sea Road area. Her husband owns a jewelery shop. Jyoti Shah was strangled to death, police said. Malabar Hill Police has registered an FIR under Section 302 of IPC and started searching for the accused. During the investigation, it was found that an employee working there is currently missing. Police are examining the CCTV footage.
