Aam Aadmi Party got a shock in Punjab

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the change of leaders continues. On Tuesday, when a Congress MP joined the BJP, an Aam Aadmi MP and an MLA combined to give the Aam Aadmi Party a double shock. Aam Aadmi Party’s Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and party MLA from Jalandhar East Sheetal Angural have joined the BJP. Let me tell you that AAP had also announced ticket to its MP from Jalandhar, Sushil Kumar Ranko, yet he has joined BJP.

That is why he joined BJP.

After joining the BJP, Sushil Kumar Ranko made a big statement, he said, “It is true that the promises I made to the people of Jalandhar did not come true because my party (you) did not support me. I am impressed by the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Singh work.” Sushil Kumar Ranko added, “I have taken this decision for the development of Jalandhar. We will take Jalandhar forward. We will bring all central government projects to Jalandhar.”

Let us tell you that both Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are contesting elections separately in Punjab and AAP MP Sushil Kumar Rinko has also been in Congress before and he won assembly elections from Jalandhar West seat in 2017. And he will be elected from Jalandhar seat. 2023. In the by-election, AAP fielded him from Jalandhar and he has been the MP from this seat for the past one year.

It was Sheetal Angural who defeated Rinku.

Sheetal Angural is Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Jalandhar West seat. Angural tried his hand at electoral politics just two years ago and defeated Sushil Kumar Ranko after contesting on an AAP ticket in the 2022 assembly elections. The biggest thing was that even after losing Ranko, the common man joined the party.

Earlier on Tuesday, Congress MP from Ludhiana Ronit Singh Bittu also joined the BJP. He had said that it is important to bridge the gulf between Punjab and the Centre, so he has left the Congress and joined the BJP.

Let us tell you that there are 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab where AAP and Congress have decided to contest elections separately. The Aam Aadmi Party has so far announced names of candidates for eight seats, including the name of Sushil Kumar Ranko, who has left the AAP to join the BJP.
