Big win for Adani Green Energy, becomes first Indian company with 10,000 MW renewable capacity – India TV Hindi

Adani Green Energy Group: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has installed 2,000 MW of solar capacity at the massive Khauda Solar Park in Gujarat, becoming the first company in India to have more than 10,000 MW of renewable capacity. The company said it now has a renewable energy capacity of 10,934 MW, the highest in India.

21 million tons of CO2 emissions will be reduced.

2,848 MW renewable capacity installed in FY 2023-24. The operational portion of AGEN’s renewable energy portfolio includes 7,393 MW of solar, 1,401 MW of wind and 2,140 MW of wind-solar hybrid capacity. The company aims to install 45 GW of renewable capacity by 2030. AGEN’s 10,934 MW operational portion will power more than 5.8 million homes, the statement said. It will save about 21 million tons of CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions annually.

The target is 45 thousand MW.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said, “We are proud to be India’s first 10,000 in the renewable sector. In less than a decade, Adani Green Energy has not only envisioned a green future, but also realized it. The quest for clean energy has gone from just an idea to an unprecedented milestone of 10,000 MW of installed capacity.

Adani added that under the target of 45,000 MW (45 GW) by 2030, we are building the world’s largest renewable energy plant at Khawda. Khaura is a 30,000 MW project that has no competition globally. AGEN is not only setting standards for the world but also redefining them.
