Gold hits new record highs, now a few steps away from Rs 70,000.

There is an upward trend in gold prices. As the new financial year begins, the price of the gold metal is recording a huge boom and its price is hitting new record highs one after the other. After hitting a new lifetime high on Monday, gold hit a new record high on Wednesday. Now the price of gold is a few steps away from the level of 70 thousand rupees.

Gold reached this level today.

On Wednesday, the price of gold on MCX has reached close to the level of 70 thousand rupees per 10 grams. In morning trade, June gold futures on MCX rose by Rs 716 to Rs 69,699 per 10 grams. Earlier on Tuesday, June gold futures on MCX had closed at Rs 68,928 per 10 grams.

This record was made on the first day

Earlier, gold also set a new record on April 1, the first day of the new financial year. In Monday’s trading on the first day of the financial year 2024-25, the price of gold on the MCX crossed the Rs 69,000 level for the first time. In Monday’s trade, the April gold price had touched Rs 69,487 per 10 grams, while the June contract had touched Rs 68,719 per 10 grams.
