The film ‘Swatantriya Veer Savarkar’ has earned Rs 17.75 crore. In a recent interview, actor Randeep Hooda mentioned a scary shot from the film, where he had to shoot in the black water of the Andaman Islands and swim in crocodile-infested water.

The actor said, ‘There were five divers around me and they were told that I couldn’t swim and was coming back without any problems. It made the others wonder why they were helping him if he could swim so well. Then Randeep revealed that ‘they came there for the crocodiles.’

The film grossed Rs 17.94 crore

Let us tell you that ‘Swatantriya Veer Savarkar’ did not earn much on the first day, but then gradually the collection of Randeep Hooda’s film improved. The film has earned Rs 17.94 crore till now. It is a biopic of freedom fighter Damodar Vinayak Savarkar.

Directed by Randeep Hooda, the film is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Legend Studios. Apart from Randeep Hooda, ‘Swatantriya Veer Savarkar’ also stars Ankita Lokhande who plays Veer Savarkar’s wife Yamunabai. The film was released in theaters on March 22 in Hindi and Marathi.
