There is a news for the candidates who want to apply for NCET 2024. The National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has started the registration for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. The registration process has been started on the official website. Eligible candidates can apply for NCET exam on official website ncet.samarth.ac.in. It should be noted that the last date to apply for the exam is 30th April.

When will the exam be?

NCET 2024 for admission to the four-year Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), government institutes and other participating institutes will be conducted on June 12.

What is the eligibility criteria?

Candidates who have passed class 12th or equivalent examination or are appearing in the examination to be held in 2024 are eligible to appear in the examination. There is no age limit for applicants.

How much is the application fee?

To apply for NCET exam 2024, general category applicants have to pay Rs 1,200 as application fee. OBC-NCL and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 1000, while SC, ST, PWBD and third gender students have to deposit Rs 650.

Exam Pattern

The NCET 2024 question paper will consist of a total of 181 multiple choice questions and candidates will have to attempt 160. The paper will be divided into four parts – Section 1 on languages, Section 2 on domain-specific topics, Section 3 on general testing, and Section 4 on teaching competence. The exam will be conducted in two shifts.
