People beaten up for chanting Jai Shri Ram in Karnataka, attempt to snatch saffron flag, two minors among attackers – India TV Hindi

The boys are fighting over chanting Jai Shri Ram.

Three boys were beaten up for chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The accused attacked with sticks. Due to which one boy got hurt in the head and another in the nose. The police have arrested the four accused and are taking action after registering an FIR. The case is of Chak Bethali where three boys were going in a car. They had saffron flags and were chanting Jai Shri Ram. After that, the boys who came on the bike stopped them and started fighting.

A video is going viral on social media, in which a boy on a motorcycle can be seen saying that he should say Allahu Akbar instead of Jaishree Ram. In response, the boy in the car says that it is our festival, we will shout whatever we want. Do we say anything when you celebrate your festival? After that, the debate starts between the two sides. The accused boys also try to grab the saffron flag and take out the boys sitting in the car. They then attack them with sticks. Later, two more boys along with the accused beat up the victims.

Two minors are also among the accused.

Police have registered a case under Section 156/24 u/s 295A, 298, 143, 147, 504, 324, 326, 506 r/w 149 of IPC. The accused have been identified as Farman and Sameer. The other two accused are minors. All four accused are residents of MS Palia. While the victims are Pawan Kumar, Rahul and Banaik residents of Sanjeevani Nagar. The accused fled after the incident. The police reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital, registered a case and arrested all the accused.
