A truck stopped at a petrol pump near Bombhori SSBT College around 9 pm on Thursday night. Some youths became suspicious because of the smell. Then he started asking questions to which the truck driver gave random answers. After that, the employees of the petrol pump called the police station along with the youth.
The truck chase stopped
Soon after that, a policeman reached the petrol pump. From where the policeman started taking the truck with him. The youths following the truck suspected that the truck was not going to the police station but to the neighborhood. The youth believed that the police had abandoned the truck, so they chased the truck and stopped it. After that, the youth beat the truck drive and set the truck on fire.

District SPM Rajkumar said that there was no beef in the truck. “The truck had animal hides, which they were taking to a leather factory, but due to a misunderstanding, some youths pelted stones and created a ruckus in front of the police. 18 people have been arrested in this case.
