According to a Hindustan Live report, Chief Engineer Ajay Mishra is holding an online review with the officials every day regarding the One Time Settlement Scheme (OTS). During the review, he has given strict instructions to the officials to sensitize the users by setting up camps in their respective areas, so that more users can benefit from it. Also inform the people visiting the camps about the benefits of this OTS scheme, so that small and big consumers can benefit from this scheme.
This plan will run only till this date.
He added that the OTS scheme is only till November 30. The authorities have been asked to focus more on revenue collection with power cuts. Recovery from large defaulters should be done on priority basis. Let me tell you that there are news of electricity theft in UP every day.
