Acharya Chanakya’s policy is as follows.
We have no knowledge or pity for those who are attached to the house and eat meat.
There is no truth for a man who is greedy for wealth and no chastity for a woman.
Don’t get too busy with family matters.
Acharya Chanakya has said in his policy that one who remains entangled in attachment to home and family loses opportunities for success at every step of life. A person should maintain a balance between his attachment to home and work. People who are more attached to their family do not advance in life. He has said this especially for the students that if they are busy with their families and are more attached to home, they will never succeed in life. Therefore, especially students should stay away from all these matters.
One should not associate with such people.
Through this verse, Acharya Chanakya adds that a person who eats non-vegetarian food has no compassion at all, so one should be wary of such people because one goes to the extent of killing an inanimate animal for himself. A person is not a good person because of his own taste, he can do anything for his selfishness. Consuming tamasic type of food increases tamo in such people. Being associated with these people will not do you any good, so don’t expect too much from them.
A greedy for money is also selfish.
Chanakya further says that a person who is greedy for money should never be trusted because these people always think of their own gain and can harm anyone for their own gain. The main advice of such a greedy person is to make money. They can go to any extent for this, so it is best to stay away from these people. If you associate and befriend them, they will only act for their own interests, so don’t get too involved with these people.
One should stay away from their company.
The purity of the mind of the wrongdoers is lost and they always earn their livelihood by doing unnecessary work in the same way. These people are unclean not only in body but also in mind, so do not trust such people at all. It is best to stay away from them as much as possible.
